I was doing my daily rounds on coolhunting, seeing what beautiful new things the design world has created for me to lust for.
My attention was diverted from the posts when I noticed an ad for a carbon fiber iPhone 3G case from More Concepts.
I’m a sucker for anything carbon fiber.
I was quickly turned off though when I read “Made of a high quality Carbon Fiber pattern leather material“.
I maybe a sucker, but I’m a sucker for the real thing!

Having 16 different iPhone 3G case series, cases for iPods and Macbooks, I figured they still might have something to make up for my carbon fiber let down. And they did!

This durable high quality case made with hydrocarbon polymer technology is a great example of the growing trend to use these materials. Hydrocarbon polymer is right up there with carbon fiber for me. I have seen several recent applications in the industrial/product/packaging world that initially turned me on to this technology, so I was happy to see it used to make a super slick iPhone case. Great work More Concepts.
