I have received a message from a higher power! Words of wisdom from Oscar Wilde months before my wedding?
My fiancées mother gave me a Baci chocolate the other night, blessed woman who feeds my addiction to individually wrapped chocolates. I was alone that night and quickly took my sweet treasure home to enjoy with the Mansbridge. The economy fell again and Obama pissed off more republicans in front of my eyes while I sat in a room filled with bridal/wedding magazines. I had some tea and removed the wrapper from my Baci, open mouth, insert goodness. Mmmm
The messages they come with tend to be kind of kitschy and sappy, but that night, with that Baci, things were different. Was this a sign? and a few months before my wedding? Had the Universe sent me a message in a Baci?
It read:
“Bigamy is having one wife too many. Monogamy is the same.”
Things that make you go hmmm.
