		<description>While aesthetically fulfilling, I think it&#039;s important for an infographics designer to not lose sight of their audience. I find that a lot of these images make it very difficult to derive useful meaning from the data.

When presenting to execs, it&#039;s not about listing data points, the difficulty is in driving home the point of a chart or data set.. the main purpose is not only to amuse/entertain, but to get your message across (rather than presenting a bunch of discrete facts or data points)..

Infographics that can do this AND be gorgeous to look at are what truly will inspire us to throw out powerpoint.</description>
